We have made small changes to our Sub-Saharan Africa experience's to ensure your safety and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Our number one priority has always been, and will always be, the safety & well-being of our guests and employees. We have developed a plan, which includes enhanced health & safety guidelines for all guests and employees, without making any compromises on the quality of our guest’s experience.

BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL
You must only travel in good health, as officially ordered health checks with temperature measurements may be carried out.
Guests must wear their face masks at all times, expect when they are in their hotel rooms and vehicles. Please keep a distance of at least 2 metres from your fellow passengers and other people.
AT THE AIRPORT
The Land Rover Experience Guide will welcome all guests with a face mask. Please avoid direct contact, no shaking of hands and keep a 2 metre distance.
The Guide will explain to guests where they can find sanitising stations, refuse bins and will measure your temperature after your arrival and will repeat it daily using a contact-free medical thermometer.
Transfers will be arranged with partners who comply strictly with hygiene procedures.
All contact surfaces, including seats, door handles etc, are sterilized between each transfer. Only half of the seats in the transfer bus will be used to ensure social distancing.
Vehicles will be sanitised using disinfectant cleaner before departing and will contain cleaning / alcohol-based hand sanitising equipment for regular own use.
The sanitisation of all interior and exterior hard surfaces that may have been touched by passengers including seatbelts; grip handles; window and door handles; glass surfaces seatbacks and overhead safety handles will be deep cleaned and sanitised daily on tour. Air-handling systems, air-conditioner and other air circulation systems shall be sanitised and maintained after each tour.
Guides / drivers will wear masks at all times and if there are two single bookings, which share a vehicle, they should wear their face masks in the vehicle.
All guests will be requested to complete a Medical and Travel Declaration upon arrival along with a temperature check. This may be repeated if necessary, every morning if coming for breakfast. Alcohol-based hand sanitisers to be available at all entry points to the reception area (foyer), public spaces, eateries (restaurants and cafés), reception, lifts and inside rooms.
Rooms and common areas will have signage and easy to follow information on protective measures such as hand sanitising, surface sanitising, physical distancing and use of masks is compulsory.
A group check-in at lodges will be arranged, to ensure quick and smooth process at the lobby / reception, avoiding interaction with other guests / groups. Guests will have limited access to public spaces and rooms. Areas will be demarcated to indicate maximum numbers.
The required social distancing must be adhered to at all times, please use floor markers or cordons for guidance. Personal contact must be avoid where possible.
All guests will be required to register, either when pre-booking, or upon arrival, to ensure name and contact details of guests are captured.
When dining, please ensure you remain at the same table as your travel companion at all times during meals.
Self-service points are high risk areas and will be manned by staff to control touch of food items or utensils.
Enhanced cleaning and sanitising of tables and chairs has been implemented with all but essential items remaining on the table.
Please note only empty rooms will be cleaned. Where guests are present, staff will not be able to enter. All rooms will have increased cleaning and sanitisation on check out ready for the next guests, however during your stay room cleaning frequency may be reduced to avoid contact and turn down services may be eliminated.
At the pool and pool area the number of loungers will be reduced and spaced to allow at least two meters between guests, however discretion may be used with small groups travelling together.
Décor and utilities, such as brochures, magazines, newspapers, vases, games, rugs, carpets, cushions and non-essential decorative items will be removed to avoid high touch points.
