COVID-19 SAFETY AND WELL BEING CHARTER
Land Rover Experience has made changes to reopen safely in line with HM Government and Public Health England on Monday 5th October.
We have recently made changes at our Land Rover Experience venues to ensure that we reopen safely on Monday 5th October and adhere to social distancing guidelines. We have done this with the utmost care and attention to ensure our customers and staff are kept safe at all times, which is our number one priority.
For your safety and our employees, Jaguar Land Rover requires all Visitors to our sites must always wear a Face Covering, either a face mask or a visor, both inside Experience buildings and outside, once you have left your mode of transport. So please bring your personal face coverings with you. Instructors will wear personal protective equipment at all times.
Please find our Covid 19 safety and well being charter below.
If you’re experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or have had contact with any possible source of the virus, or living with someone who is currently shielding or self isolating, please stay at home and e-mail the centre to re-arrange your booking.
Everyone on site must adhere to social distancing guidelines and remain at least 2 metres apart where possible. We have put some signs up to help remind and guide you.
All areas of the building routinely undergo enhanced cleaning and sanitation. A comprehensive cleaning schedule has been developed and log is maintained to ensure consistent and timely sanitation.
Using none contact technology, guests may be required to have a thermal temperature screening on arrival or anytime during their experience. Guests with a temperature of 37.8°c or greater will be asked to reschedule their drive experience to ensure our other guests and staff are kept safe.
All guests will be required to use the ‘Hand-sanitising Stations’ on their arrival and departure.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
As per the government guidelines we request all customers to bring and wear their own personal face covering inside the Jaguar Land Rover venues and vehicles at all times. Please note certain areas will not allow access without face coverings. Staff will also be wearing personal protective equipment at all times.
A personal bottle of hand santiser will be made available for customer use during their experience.
Self-serve refreshment points with disposable cups will be available. This area will also be regular cleansed and hand sanitiser will be provided.
Following HM Government’s announcement on Tuesday 22nd September 2020, Jaguar Land Rover Experience has made the difficult decision to postpone the re-start of Factory Tours until Spring 2021. For exisiting bookings or vouchers, please contact a member of the team.
CHANGES TO THE DRIVE EXPERIENCE
We are conducting all drive experiences in an instructor ‘lead-follow’ format or at the side on the vehicle with 2 metre distance. At no time will the instructors be in the same vehicle as our guests. Each customer will have their own exclusive use of a vehicle and all instructions will be delivered via radio or hand signals.
One instructor may instruct up to two drivers (while each remain in their own vehicles).
Each customer will have their own exclusive use of a vehicle with up to 1 passenger from their household.
Customers MUST complete the disclaimer and licence check online before attending their experience.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
Face covering must be worn at all times within the Experience centre and vehicles.
After each customer use, vehicle interior and exterior is cleaned and sanitized with an anti-microbial disinfectants product passing Covid 19 disinfection standards. Employees responsible for transporting and cleaning vehicles are equipped with personal protection at all times to preserve sanitary conditions.
We thank you for your patience during these unprecedented times and please do not hesitate to contact our team if you have any questions by filling out the form below.
